Restorative Justice Lisa Rea demonstrated how the community benefits when offenders and victims are both considered in the Justice System. Lisa pointed to numerous stories of victims and offenders meeting to express hurts and concerns leading to healing on both parts. Restorative Justice looks to bring healing to communities affected by crime through the use of various victim and offenders reconciliation processes. When offenders are released and have not taken responsibility for the damage they done to individuals, emotionally and monetarily they will often re-offend.
